The upgrades they have done over the years have made it an awesome place to go to. Only downside I have found is if you're a kayaker there is almost no where to stop and get out. They have lined pretty much the whole lake with rock/cement that will beat up your kayak if you try to get out.

They've put a lot of effort into improving this lake. I've taken advantage of the bike paths. Looking forward to fishing here upon my next visit. The volleyball courts are ok, but not the best.

A great park with a beautiful concrete path that moves smoothly around the edge of the lake. Nice picnic area and parking lots spotted around the lake.
We were on a road trip and saw the sign on the highway so decided to stop after we saw on the website that they had a beach. We were quite surprised to pull up to a beach that had absolutely no water. Lol. We still had fun exploring the dry lake bed and look forward to seeing the lake once it is dredged and improved.
